Breaking the Law!
1998 Event Answers
Objective:
To find violations of the laws of physics in cartoons and science fiction movies. For example, in cartoons everything falls faster than an anvil. However, from the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Galileo found that everything falls at the same rate.
Apparatus:
Each team will be shown video segments with scenes which violate laws of physics. Each team will then record the errors they observe.
Scoring:
score = (number of correct answers) - (number of incorrect answers)
The team with the highest score is the winner.
