|Lee is a graduate student in Physics from Houston, TX. He holds the B.S. in Physics and English from SFASU.|
My research centers on using the 18-inch telescope and CCD imaging system to construct color-magnitude diagrams for open clusters. Standard B, V, and R observations yield the color indices B-V and V-R. Two well-known clusters (M11 and NGC 6709) have been observed to date. These should act as a good calibration set of how our system compares with others. Less studied clusters are also included on my observing list.
Future plans for Lee are to work toward the Ph.D. in Oceanography.
