When you go to the CLEA site for a particular lab you should download the software itself first. For example for the first of the CLEA labs (Moons of Jupiter) look for the link entitled JupLab.exe. Click on the name and a dialogue comes up that asks whether you would like to save it or open it. Choose save and then select a place to put the file. I would recommend creating a separate folder called CLEA and putting each of the labs in its own folder under this. The file you are downloading is a self-extracting file, meaning that once it is in your computer, all you have to do is double click on the file name, and it installs (in a folder of your choosing). To run the software, go to the folder and find the file with an exe extension and the CLEA lab icon. Double click and away you go.
The other file you need from the CLEA site is the student manual for each lab. These are found slightly farther down the page on the right hand side. It is very important that you get the manual, because it contains detailed instructions on how to do each lab and the exercise itself.
