Grading: Lecture and Laboratory grades are computed
into one grade and the same
grade is recorded
for
both lecture and lab. From time
to time, in class pop-quizzes will be given.
The Lecture average is based upon your exams, on-line homework and
POP-quizzes. The Final average is based on your Lecture average and Lab
average. The table below shows how the grading will be approached.
|
Lecture Average |

Online Homework will be assigned and
have to be done online at www.physicsplace.com.
Homework: Students are to establish their own
account. Login at the following link and follow the
instructions for establishing an account.

Once you are able to login, you will need to join the class PHY 101 001 using the Class ID:
cm509983.
Note: (Lab average
consists of 50% experiment avg. + 50% lab exam average) – See your lab
instructor about the lab grade details.
Grading scale for Final Averages Only:
(90-100)A (80-89.9) B (70-79.9) C (60-69.9) D (0-59.9) F
