Seminar - Thursday Title: "First Order Optics" by Richard Graves from Ball Aerospace
Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp. specializes in the design and development of small-to-medium-sized satellites (100-1,000 kg) and specialty spacecraft (3,000 kg). All students and faculty are welcome to attend our seminars. Refreshments will be served.
SFA Observatory - Open on Friday Night
If you are a new student at SFA then you may not yet
be aware of the SFA Observatory. The observatory director Dr. Markworth and I would
like to invite you to the observatory this Friday night to take a tour of
the site and view a few objects through the research-grade telescopes.
We especially encourage our physics or pre-engineering majors and astronomy minors to take advantange of this opportunity. Feel free to bring a friend too. The observatory will be open to the public on the following night (weather permitting): Friday, October 5th, 8:00pm Driving Directions
