Questions for SFA Alumni

Dear SFA Physics Alumnus,

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stephen F. Austin State University is interested in establishing an advisory panel to help us review programs and plan for the future.  Our initial thoughts are that this panel should be composed of our alumni and that we should have a mix of those in industry and those in academics.  What we seek from you at this time is your input.  Do you see this as a worthwhile venture?  Are you willing to serve on this panel?  We probably would convene the panel every couple of years on campus to meet with our students.  We are looking for your suggestions.  Please respond.  We’ll keep you posted on the development of this idea.

Please visit us when you get the chance.

Thanks and have a great day,

Harry D. Downing, Professor and Chair
