Math and Science Stipend

The Center ISD Board approved stipends for all high school certified math
and science teachers in the amount of $8,000.00 for the 2007-2008 school
year at our meeting on April 5th, 2007. This stipend will be above the base
amount set for all teachers in our district. Currently the board is
completing a market salary study through the Texas Association of School
Boards which should drive our base salaries above districts in our area.
Please pass along to your departments or to potential applicants. Any
assistance you can provide in locating certified math & science applicants
for our district is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Kelly Rodgers, Superintendent of Schools
