SPS Meeting
 
The Society of Physics Students will meet after seminar this week on Thursday at 5:00 PM.  Everyone is invited.  The Physics Olympics will be discussed.
 
Seminar

Tutoring
 
There are a few students that are looking for tutors this semester.  Please email astro@sfasu.edu if you want to tutor students in any physics or astronomy course.

Physics Olympics
 
Every spring, local high school students gather at the SFA campus to engage in friendly competitions with physics themes. The Society of Physics Students and the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Stephen F. Austin State University will be holding a Physics Olympics for area high school students on the SFASU campus on Saturday, April 6, 2002. 
 
 
SFA Observatory
 
The next public viewing session is scheduled for Friday, April 19th at 8:00PM.  We should have views of Saturn, Jupiter and the first quarter moon.  The Society of Physics Students will sponsor the event.  Perhaps we can have buses and pizza.
