How to Study

1. Read chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4. Use your notes as a guide for areas of focus.
2. Use the one-page summaries on pages 21-22, 50, 74-75, 101-102 for chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectively. Read these summaries several times.
3. Complete or review your online quizzes for these chapters. Use the 'quizzes' practice area for the "Basic Skills / Definitions Quiz", the "Conceptual Quiz" and the "Visual Quiz" for each chapter. Questions on the exam may be similar to those found on the homework assignments but may not have exactly the same wording. The exams generated are desiged to test the understanding of the concepts learned rather than memorization of answers.
4. As the exams draws near, go back to the chapters and look at the figures in the book and read their captions.
5. Review the bold terms in each chapter above.
